Shelley Evans has held senior management roles with multinational pharmaceutical companies as well as CEO roles in the biotechnology, medical devices and medical research sectors. Her experience spans prescription pharmaceuticals, nutrition, complementary medicines, diagnostics and biotechnology. Shelley holds a BSc in Pharmacy, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Commercial Law.
Throughout her career, Shelley has been a passionate practitioner of patient advocacy, and has worked in this capacity with a wide range of interest groups including 3 years as CEO of Osteoporosis Australia. Her commercial expertise encompasses corporate affairs, strategic marketing, corporate governance, and the commercialisation of innovative products.
Shelley has also been a member of the independent advisory boards for the Centre for Research Excellence in Sun and Health which operates from the Queensland University of Technology, and the Centre for Complementary Medicine Research at the University of Western Sydney.
