The annual Research Australia Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations that have helped further Australian health and medical research excellence through corporate giving, philanthropy, advocacy or their own research contributions.

The Awards are nominated by Research Australia’s members and decided by the Research Australia Board of Directors.

The Discovery Award

An early career researcher (no more than five years post PhD) whose paper/patent/discovery has already demonstrated its importance or impact. The Discovery Award was introduced in 2008.

Peter Wills Medal
