$8.5 million biomedical imaging fund to improve health
Advances in the prevention and treatment of conditions such as cancer, brain and heart disease will result from cutting-edge biomedical imaging capabilities being funded by an $8.5 million Brumby Labor Government grant. Visiting the construction site of the new Melbourne Neuroscience Project being built in Parkville, Innovation Minister Gavin Jennings said the funding for the Victorian Biomedical Imaging Capability (VBIC) would vastly improve biomedical imaging in the state.  Read more
