Ai Group on R&D bill delay
With the Senate now not considering the Government's proposed Research
and Development tax incentive changes until Parliament resumes next
year, there is now an opportunity for the Government to ask the Board of
Taxation to investigate the impacts of the proposed arrangements before
they are legislated.
As we made clear earlier this week, the
Government's proposals to reshape the business research and development
tax incentive remain of serious concern to industry and need further
consideration before being passed by the Senate. Read more
