Australia and India – Partners in scientific discovery
Senator Kim Carr announces that leading Australian and Indian researchers are teaming up to pursue groundbreaking ideas, from new non-invasive tools for detecting cancer to better techniques for monitoring the health of our oceans.
With funding of $65 million from the Australian Government, and matching funding from the Government of India, the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund is powering innovation in critical areas like oncology, marine science, agriculture, water management and nanotechnology.
