Australian Designed Cancer Test Now Available in USA
Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) has announced a new licensing agreement, allowing a cancer test developed by its researchers to be commercialized in the United States. The test detects the presence of Alternative Lengthening of Telomeres (ALT) in tumour samples, and also in blood samples, which may aid in the diagnosis and prognosis of cancer.
The ALT assay is provided under licence to Capital Biosciences Inc. (CBI), Rockville, Maryland for research-use-only, and the licence agreement with CBI was facilitated by Bio-Link Australia Pty Ltd.
