The purpose of the discussion paper Understanding Research Governance of Multi-centre Human Research is to elicit feedback on good practice in governance in multi-centre human research that has undergone a single ethical review. The document outlines the components of a research governance framework for multi-centre human research and describes the roles and responsibilities of parties involved in research governance.
Following consideration of all stakeholder feedback, NHMRC will publish guidance to assist institutional administrators to understand the scope of activities supporting research governance of the ethical review of multi-centre human research.
The below consultation pack presents this discussion paper and a series of questions for you to answer. Please note that this public consultation will close 5:00pm AEST Friday 25 February 2011.
