The Ear Science Institute Australia (ESIA) is pleased to announce that WA’s Chief Scientist, Lyn Beazley, has been appointed an ESIA Director.

ESIA Chairman Graeme Jolley said Professor Beazley would bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and scientific recognition to ESIA. “We are extremely fortunate to have her join our Board,” Mr Jolley said.

Winthrop Professor Marcus Atlas, founding Director of ESIA and inaugural Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Western Australia, said Professor Beazley’s appointment to the ESIA Board reflected the growth and development of the Institute which recently, celebrated its 10th Anniversary.

“Professor Beazley is an incredibly dynamic and highly respected scientist,” Prof Atlas said. “She embodies her philosophy of ‘do science, translate science, communicate science’ and her experience and vision for science will be a wonderful complement to our Board.”
