Senior Government Relations Adviser

Troy joined Research Australia in November 2022 as Senior Government Relations Adviser, bringing with him a wealth of experience in state and federal politics and health sector peak bodies.

Previously, Troy was Senior Policy Adviser at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, where he established and ran the College’s first ever Canberra advocacy office.

His experience in Government includes as policy adviser to a federal Cabinet Minister and media adviser to two MPs. With a number of publications to his name, including the first report ever written on food security in Australia, Troy holds a Commerce degree majoring in Economics and a Masters in History.
