Senior Adviser, Special Projects
Frances joined Research Australia in July 2023 as Senior Adviser, Special Projects. A leader in health and human services policy and practice, she brings a background in psychology and a wealth of experience in non-profit, government and tertiary education sectors.
Prior to joining Research Australia, Frances spent ten years in national leadership of mental health policy, services and research, including as Director Strategy for the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders and Executive Director Policy at the National Mental Health Commission, as well as roles in senior leadership of national non-profit mental health services.
Skilled in strategy and system design, policy development, evaluation, workforce development and collaborative practice, Frances is passionate about growing and translating knowledge to improve practice, develop capacity and achieve lasting change.
