Hayden joined Research Australia in October 2023 as Government Relations Officer and then Government Relations Advisor.

As Government Relations Advisor, Hayden’s role involves leveraging communication prowess and policy insight to enhance Research Australia’s impact on national research policies. Hayden graduated from the University of Newcastle and has honed his skills in both written and oral communication, essential for effective advocacy.

Previously, Hayden has spent almost ten years working for Federal and State Parliamentarians, cultivating relationships with stakeholders, working with communities and developing strategy.
