- World first study of drug-releasing cochlear implant electrode – since coming onto the market in the early 1980’s, the Nucleus Cochlear Implant, has been restoring the perception of sound to children and adults with hearing loss and now a new design has recently been trialled to slowly releases an noninflammatory drug into the cochlea post-implantation.
- Mapping the consumer health journey – continue the discussion about the lack of data connectivity in Australia where individuals and their health practitioners and service providers are flying partially or completely blind when providing healthcare.
